I liked her, too, but it sounds like she showed a lack of good judgment here. Wonder if this will make things difficult for her hubby, a weather guy. Is he still there?

She was a lot more likeable than Gretchen. I don't think E.D. is a good fit for what she does now.

Maybe she was frustrated with having to be on Fox at 6:00 am and then go off the air when Gretchen started at 7:00. Plus she had to work every weekend.

lately it has seemed that all 3 mainstays were on from 6am most days. in the past i thought only one of the regs was on early and they had 2 second stringers in for the first hour.
Patti Ann Brown was always the prettiest to me.
Gretchen just seems to lack energy. She doesn't have a good sense of humor. CNN got a better deal. I hate CNN, so I guess I will not see Kiran anymore.
I don't think its always a "lack of good judgment" if someone leaves a network we like for one we don't.Probably strictly a business decision and one many of us may make in our lifetimes.

I could understand that. And I'm sure the net would've, too. But if that was the slot they had for her, and she didn't like it, she was free to go elsewhere. There needn't have been any acrimony. Sounds like Chetry and her agent ticked off the net. Not a smooth move.
I'm still trying to figure out whatever happened to Chris Kurl (sp?) on CNN? Her husband also worked there (Dan Farmer?). I can't get a rise out of Google on them.
