GIving the guy the benefit of the doubt, he saw that his son was injured and in pain, and thought the ref wasn't stopping the match and his son was being further injured, he might in the moment jump in to stop the damage.
He did throw the kid pretty hard, so maybe he was mad and thought the other boy was purposely continuing to hurt his son.
But the news reported that he was "mad" that his son was "losing", and I don't think that was the case, if you believe this story.

After tossing the kid, he doesn't even *look* at his own son, or the ref, he stands and points at the cameraman and sure looks mad to me.
