I saw the Police on their first US Tour - they played the Ontario theater in DC. I think they may have opened for Blondie as I don't think we went to see them.

I bought a DVD called "Everybody Staired" for $3 at Silver Platters. It is a compilation of high quality 8mm film footage taken by the drummer for pretty much their entire period from just as they were getting semi-popular to the breakup.
Pretty interesting.
