I am still confused as to why this beach blond floozies death is news.
How on earth does anyone get a Costco sized bottle of Methadone? There has to be a thousand methadone pills in that bottle. And what is in all thos vials of injectible-only drugs?
Actually on closer inspection, that is LIQUID Methadone.
How about a nice after dinner drink? Can I also offer you a shot of something special?
Kinda makes all the hippies crowing about 9/11 being an inside job look ridiculous.
"Hey did you know that 9/11 was done by Bush/Cheney and the military industrial complex and Haliburton to justify invading Iraq and taking their oil?"
"No but Anna Nicole Smith died. Can you believe it? Did she date that Haliburton guy?".
Perhaps notable in passing, but this media feeding frenzy is unbelievable.
The whole thing serves as a nice morality tale. How many women have said "if I could just marry an old rich guy, all my problems would be over?"
Once basic needs are met, money's ability to solve problems is vastly overrated.
It is not really news but is more like entertainment, sort of like some wacko reality show.
It actually adds some fascinating legal issues to the fairly interesting legal issues surrounding her late husband's estate. The international law aspects of child custody jurisdiction for an infant whose paternity is really completely unknown, and which could determine her citizenship status, and who is currently located in a country different from that of her deceased mother's citizenship, are complex enough. Add to that the huge financial uncertainties surrounding the child (maybe worth half a billion, maybe a pauper), and the necessity of ongoing legal actions re that matter, and there's enough here to fill some serious legal periodicals.
