Somebody said on one of the cable shows that there's no cause to prescribe methadone as a painkiller since less addictive meds are available.

In fact he argued that it would be wrong to use it that way. In the words of Dr Henry Lee..."something wong here". Not that it's never done...but whoever this was viewed it as malpractice. Can't recall who.

But look, she was on all sorts of meds, painkillers, antidepressants and was seen in the hotel lounge downing double shots of whiskey. This is an abuser.

So you give her...methadone?

What's she in pain over? What was Daniel in pain over? No, I don't think so...

I'm going to make a guess at heart failure. Too much meds, too much dieting and an over taxed heart, and kaplooey.

I understand that medical people will not prescribe methadone as a pain killer, but people who use drugs might want to use it in that fashion.
