I'm just going to make one post in this thread and apologize to everyone for my conduct in the previous one, which resulted in it getting yanked entirely by the AMs. I'll say good night to all of you and hope you have a happy weekend.

we all say things at times that didn't come off the way we meant them. we all make mistakes. we all have hurts in our lives, and wounds in our hearts. some of us are more healed than others. the thing i love about FR is that people here are so kind, caring and forgiving of our 'oops-es', blunders, and pains. it is a 'community' and 'family'.

ok, at my house, if someone says they are sorry, it needs to be acknowledge. field' the apology is accepted, and you are forgiven.

i do not believe that the thread was pulled solely on your behavior, field'. i think it may have been a myriad of things...

want a cookie, field?! anyone?

have to help frost them first!! :;grin::

Hey, after I posted the thread, I had to take off a while so I didn't see any of the fireworks. I commend you--it takes courage to say you're sorry. Let's bury the hatchet. Just send fifty thousand dollars in small unmarked bills during the next Freepathon and we'll just forget all about it, okay? ;^)

It takes a BIG man to step up & say what you did. I have a lot of respect for you for that . Thank you and I hope that you will come back & be part of this group. So many good things come out of Tennessee & I am sure you are one of them.

So much of FRee Republic posting is antagonistic and the threads argumentative it seems. Here we try to have a sanctuary of friendship & where we try to learn about each other & support each other.

ANY put-downs are normally in fun or non-intentional. If we have differences the ideal is to send FReepmail but do it in a supportive way. We are all here to learn, grow as people & overcome difficulties.

There has been a lot of progress for a lot of people. All of life is baby steps. Some of the baby steps involve stepping in the poop... but we clean up, smell sweet again & trudge on. Eventually we step over or around the poop!

I am sorry that I had some personal issues in life yesterday evening that I was not here to help things a bit (she says in her best referee outfit).. but we are all learning, as I said. I am learning that others step up & help to fix things.

I sincerely mean that for me you are welcome. You may have browned off a few folks along the way here but show us who you really are.. be willing to be vulnerable (like we all have by showing our needs & weaknesses), You might find one or more of them can be your good friends,
