It is not very clear.

Apparently the wolf tracks prove that the horse was attacked and chased and then killed by the wolves...but the family apparently may not have seen it as it happened.

I believe that the family had earlier yelled at the wolves to go away.

This is crazy in my opinion.

We should be legally allowed to shoot these Mexican wolves on our private property.

sss is the other option.

For complete pictures of the horse attack scene go to our old wolf website www.mexicanwolf.0catch.com then please check out our new wolf ed website www.wolfcrossing.org

The horse was killed down the canyon from my home, it is the 9th or 10th equine attacked by Mexican wolves and the fourth to be killed, but somehow this has been swept under the rug by FWS as everyone seems to think it is the first.

For all of you who recommend sss that would be nice except for the federal marshals poised and ready to swoop in down here and harass your family. We are under siege in so many ways, due to this program.
Over Christmas we left home overnight and a single wolf came in and killed one of our Livestock guard dog pups. So that doesn't work someone called them horderves that is just about right.

The Millers are trying to play by the rules but they are also working with the rest of us to get those rules that are creating the habituation problem changed. had they been home at the time of the attack they would have been within their legal rights to have killed as many of the wolves as possible. Since the attack happened on deeded land as you will see in the pictures.
