"I've had this theory for a while, but kept it to myself: Rosie hates being a lesbian. She hates it. She resents women who are attractive enough to get a man. I can't go any deeper into her psyche than that but I think that deep down, her greatest desire is to be found to be attractive by men."
Surprise! I agree with you.
Rosie is unhappy being a lesbian and playing the "male" of the role. Her buddy plays the female in the perverted "union". Here's Anna, an exaggeration of a female (comic book character) getting allot of attention from males that are often considered "attractive" - She HATES that. When does Rosie get ANY attention? When she's ANGRY and says HATEFUL things - the other one got attention for the opposite reasons.
I have YET to meet a homosexual that is HAPPY. They're ALL miserable!

I disagree with your last point. There's a reason that "gay" is used for (male) homosexual. It began as a euphamism for a reason. It's true that "dour" often follows from "lesbian" but not always. I'm not willing to make generalizations on this point. I'm only going to say that it holds in Rosie's case.

Well, there's always fat-assed Michael Moore.
Then again, maybe he doesn't qualify as a "man."
