My 7 year old niece has autism, and not of the "high functioning" variety. My sister received a flu shot sometime in her third trimester of her pregnancy and noticed that the baby stopped moving around in the womb within a day afterward -- went from very active to non-active overnight. Then the toxicity symptoms began, and they got so bad she had to get the baby outta there about a month early.
Anyway, to make a long story short, she's convinced the thimerisol - mercury - in the flu shot was the culprit.
