Here is a story of young man that also died at the casino hotel that Anna was at. He died just 3 weeks before Anna did. This article covers the problems that his family are having getting information about his death due to the casino hotel being on tribal property

Mystery adds to family's agony

Mark Grosso had Hollywood good looks: chestnut brown eyes, short black hair and a dashing smile that made the ladies blush. A man who looked like he had it all.

A recovering addict, Grosso was three years sober and on his way to having a storybook-perfect life at the age of 32. Good job, an education, dreams of starting a family.

Mark Grosso, shown with sister Emily, died 3 weeks before Anna Nicole Smith at the same casino hotel.

But on Jan. 14, Grosso's body was discovered in a hotel room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood. Missing are his wallet and a camera. Still missing is a cause of death.

Three weeks later, reporters from across the globe descended on the Hard Rock, drawn by an eerily similar case. Anna Nicole Smith, 39, collapsed and died at the same hotel.

Thank you for that very interesting link about another mysterious death at the same hotel.

"Because the hotel is under Seminole police jurisdiction, police reports have been impossible to obtain, leaving loved ones to wonder who or what killed him.

...............snip...........

"The tribe's police department was created in 1981 and officers must be certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Although the department must adhere to the FDLE's policing guidelines, it answers to the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Tribal Council.

And because the tribe is not subject to state public records laws, the police department does not have to release any information."
