She was a stripper, gold digger, centerfold model, and poor role model as a celebrity. But there's enough folks in our society who will find something to blame for her drug abuse and other faults just because she was a good looking woman with bodacious assets.

I'll give you stripper, centerfold and poor role model. Can't agree with gold digger, bcse the man she married was a sentient being and saavy businessman who met her in a strip club. He knew full well what she was and he went in with his eyes wide open.

As for the rest of your post, the compassion expressed by some on this thread has nothing to do with her looks. I, personally, make a distinction between those whose destructiveness is borne out of malevolence and those whose destructiveness is borne out of weakness and stupidity. I'd rather save my contempt for the true scum of this world, not some dumb bimbo who lacked the smarts or wherewithal to rise above the circumstances of her life.

From what I recall at the time, the man had a long history of being attracted to her "type" at strip clubs. It may be that he pursued her.

Such a sad, sad situation. A train wreck waiting to happen. Of course many of her problems were caused by her own weakness, but they were exacerbated by those who exploited her for money.

The time for intervention in her life was long past due. As the drama unfolds, I hope someone is there for the baby.
