I also believe that Anna saw this baby as a pot of gold due to her trying to get Thompson to believe he was the father and even after he told her he could not be the father she still tried to get him to sign off on the birth certificate but he refused, so Stern was her only other option because she feared Larry would take the baby away from her. Why the hell she never thought Thompson would do the same is beyond me unless once again she only saw the child as being a pot of gold and she hoped Thompson would marry her and take her word that it was his baby. Interesting idea. I never thought of it that way. Never followed the Thompson thing and didn't realize how wealthy he really was. But what would HKS gain if Anna ran off with Thompson? Wouldn't he be thrown out with this weeks trash?
