I'm freaking out here. JUST THIS AM I said to hubby: "she will be dead within a year". I was watching something that had a tape of conversation w/her old boyfriend at Christmas and she SOUNDED half dead.

Those were phone calls between them, right? She sounded totally drugged. Worried me because she had the baby with her and was letting him hear the baby cry....

Don't freak out - I had a very strong feeling myself very recently that she would die soon. It was like it was almost a foregone conclusion after her son Daniel died that she was so fragile emotionally she couldn't manage to survive. I got teary when I heard the news. I really liked her - not too bright, yes, but she seemed so sweet.
She was a little like Marilyn - you expected an early death but when you hear of it - it is still startling.
