Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Then they should be questioning Ted Kennedy...

He confirmed her death to Fox from the hospital.
Terry Shiavo death and the Pope took the entire Sandy Berger story out of the news.

Didn't she pose for Playboy or Penthouse? And don't say that's not porn. If I would have to hide it from my wife then it's porn.
Think of her children,

a whacked-out drug freak.
We can only guess what role
Anna's crazy life
played in her son's death.
Throwing away her own life
is awful enough

makes it real awful.
I mean, compare her

at least was tangent
to a real artist
and maybe contributed
to inspiring
one or two good songs
and never, I don't believe,
dragged children into
her worthless mess life.

I've thought that for a long time... why keep her from her real father when he wants her and Anna was sedated most of the time (since she was born and evidentally before).

There were times when she seem so human and real and vulnerable that I could not help but like her and feel for her.
On a side note,,,isn't the woman on with Gibson right now Gavin Newsom's ex wife???????

Thank you, that needed to be said. No matter what anyone thought of this woman it takes a lack of humanity and compassion to say awful things about her after her death.
It seems to have reached warp speed - or would that be critical mass?
There has always been a small percentage of freepers who are a**holes.For instance,back in 2002 after the Samantha Runnion and Danielle Van Dam murders you could count on at least a couple of posters bashing or blaming the parents.
FR has grown a lot so now there are more a**holes. I still don't think they're the majority.
