Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
I didn't hear it.
I wonder if there was a provision in her will for future children. We shall see.
Some talking head info on the CA Paternity Testing Case. (off of CTV)
In CA on Feb 7th a judge entered a order for Paternity testing. The testing was ordered for the mother and child and was to be done by Feb 21. The order also stated that Anna had until Feb 9th (12 noon) to let the court know her desired location for testing to be done. (either CA or in the Bahamas) - if she did not contact the court by Feb 9th by 12 noon letting them know where she wanted the testing done. Then Larry Birkhead could choose the location for the testing to be done. Anna died at about 2pm on 2/8/07.
The deadline for the DNA extraction was set for Feb 21. They now have the mother DNA but not the baby's. (Well Florida ME has it under lock and key)

Who were the millions who supported or pushed Mother Teresa to hold the sick? I'll bet none of the people behind Rosa Parks forced her to sit down that day on the bus. What about the former Pontiff? All of the people standing in the Square for his funeral came in sadness because their leader was gone. HE lead the people. He drew people to him. The courage of Ronald Reagan came from within, not because he looked in the mirror admiring how fabulous we made him. Lastly, Clara Barton...this introverted, shy country girl became great because she acted where no one else had before her, to change communications during wartime.
Perhaps my argument didn't work because the thicket through which it must travel to engage your brain is impassible.
CTV thinks that Stern will get her body due to the recent interviews that Anna did for ET on how she felt about her family. This will be submitted as evidence in the hearing over who gets her body.
I have to say I agree. Those ET interviews she did were damning to her mother and family.
Yeah, I'm also wondering if it said Daniel by name or if it also had a general clause about any other children.
Stern claimed on one of the tab TV shows that it would be Dannielynn as beneficiary, saying it as if it were an automatic rollover.
But we know how he just *says* things.
I wonder if the fact that Anna looked "out of it" in most of those videos could ever make a difference. HKS strikes me as someone who would be caught with a shovel in hand over her gravesite. Not sure why that is, but I could see it happening.
I doubt it. She was pretty strong with her words in those interviews and they will have to be considered since they were done recently.
It could be that they give the mother her body but order that she is buried in the Bahamas next to her son (or on top of him) - She owns 2 side by side plots that will hold 4 coffins (2 coffins stacked on top of each other in each of the 2 plots)

It certainly seems to me that a case could be made that she hadn't been in any kind of a non-addled state of mind much at all in the past few years - with lots of video and photos for back-up.
Why would she not provide for any future children??? This means that Dannielynn gets nada?
