Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Reminds me of the Onassis kiddo, too. While she is married now, her Daddy is still fighting over control of her money...

I think the fixation on Anna Nicole is somewhat related to the American public's ability to freak over the threat of Global Warming, and to then yawn over the threat of Global Terrorism.
Her sister is now claiming the baby's father is Anna's late husband, Marshall. She says his sperm was frozen and impreganting herself is/was Anna's way of being sure to get her hands on the Marshall $$$. This from the link you posted.

There is an ongoing inquiry into Daniel's death, and there is even a new sense of urgency there, now that his mother has died under (perhaps) similar circumstances.
The fact that HKStern was a hanger-on/interested party (given that he planned to marry the deceased and claims to be the father of her infant daughter) for BOTH deaths really sends up a red flag for *me* -- so I have to assume that trained LEO feel even more strongly about it.
They showed pictures of ANS and HKS at the hospital right after the baby was born -- close up shots -- HKS's eyes were so stoned in that picture, very red-rimmed and dilated pupils.... (just an observation).
Last thing they showed was previews of the next Access Hollywood when ANS showed him the babies nursery. I don't have kids, but know a little about them and it bothered me to see the baby in her crib face down with blankets up around her face. More than ever I worry this baby is in danger if left in this current situation.
Just wanted to vent and give a heads-up to anyone who might want to see that next segment... I didn't catch if it would be today or Monday.
They had two re-run's last night. They usually re-run on Saturday afternoons. It's one of my favorite's, too.
