Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

As far as I can tell, Anna Nicole Smith may have been mixed up about any number of things, but as far as I could tell, she lacked malice toward anyone.
None... sad to say.
Prayers for her Baby daughter! Poor little thing... how horrible!!!! God keep her in safe hands that love her!
I also didn't say she likely died from influenza. I only said it was quite possible. It's easy to come up with a tabloid scenario, isn't it? "Oh, it was incest!" "Oh it was that smarmy lawyer!" "Oh, it's God punishing her!", and you're calling me out for opining that it could be something as simple as the flu?

But a nurse was with her at the time, maybe the baby's nurse? And a body guard was in there?
CNN saying the Hard Rock is on Indian reservation which might have different laws.....talking about the investigation....????
I agree. She was way out there. I don't think it would be too difficult for her to O.D. from an unintentional overdose.
Take some antidepressents, add some liquor, Xanax or other drug, her son's death and daughter's birth, and it wouldn't be too hard to overdo it. Especially if she had someone 'helping' her along.
I always felt that way about Marilyn Monroe as well.
I hope Courtney Love is paying attention; she makes me sad, too.
I was thinking that this might be a wakeup call for Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.
The baby is in the Bahama's still... the police don't appear to know why the nurse was with her. Said the nurse and body guard were with her.
Crime scene people are in the room.

Courtney is doing well, has a great sponsor, staying sober and supposedly has a kickin' cd coming out, as per a column I read on Fox.
I think either is a nightmare.
Of the two I'd rather deal with the K less Stern but both are scum.
