Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
I think we'd be more apt to fall for that if we didn't already know that HKS brought drugs into the hospital while a pregnant ANS was trying to detox and administered them into the IV. The past history does not lend itself to your theory. But keeping an open mind is always good. FReep On!
I've thought for awhile that Greta is suspicious of Stern. We may learn that she had no input on this, but I'll not be surprised if she did. I mean, she had a burr under her saddle about several things in regard to Stern. And Greta is like a bulldog that sinks its teeth into something and won't let go.
LOL! No can do Lizarde. A grandfather clause only applies when a new rule supercedes an old rule. There was no rule about this in the first place, therefore, there was no old rule, hence there is no superceding rule, thus, there can be no grandfather clause. Did she say Anna was fine, or that she was still sleeping? Either way, I agree it was amazing that, per the story, right after that he hears from her that something is terribly wrong with Anna.

A thought did occur.
If HK$ is innocent of negligent homicide or worse - what would he do to show he was just an ANS confidant and not her rasputin or enabler? Wouldn't he make up with Vergie and ANS' friends to resolve the conflicts ASAP? Wouldn't he just blame ANS' grief and addictions for all the misunderstandings and give the baby to Larry?
Why is he hanging on to his "executor role" for dear life?

Hi sod! Thanks for dropping in. I bet hanging on to the executor role is not what he's thinking about at this point. But his "dear life" is what he is probably thinking about at this point.
That IS a bit of a troublesome conundrum I've been mulling over. I don't think Howard administered the drugs in her IV. A snippet I recall from Larry - he mentioned Howard opening the bottle- tells me whatever it/they were, she took it by mouth. Doesn't seem that Howard/Anna tried to hide it from Larry.
Here's one of my alternative propositions ( maybe a stretch!): Howard brought in her Topomax seizure/migraine medicine from home and got the OK from the doctor to do so. I know, I know, it might be a stretch....
Well Mo did say that HKS wasn't behaving as he usually did wrt Anna that day. What i read from that is that either HKS or Moe had to be with Anna at all times. So maybe Moe was nervous leaving Anna alone (with Taz only) and called to check up on her.
That could explain part of the discrepancy couldn't it?

That seemed to have been when Brigitte went in the room and inquired after Anna.
We're told that just before noon, Big Moe, his wife and several others entered the hotel lobby. As they approached the elevator, Howard K. Stern came down the elevator from Anna's room. They all chatted and all went upstairs. Moe and his wife went into their room in the suite, leaving Howard in the living room. We don't know if Howard entered Anna's room.
Howard was alone for an hour or more with ANS, came down the elevator to meet Moe, Taz and I assume Brigett and King Eric in the lobby. There is no mention of Brigett in this article, but we know from her testimony to Rita Cosby, she was there.
What if HKS administed something fatal to ANS while they were gone, knowing that while he was gone she would mysteriously die and he wouldn't be present to take the blame? and..... why, did they wait for him to return to the Hard Rock before calling 911? We still don't have that info.
Good question, sod. Right after the hearing, it LOOKED like things were headed that way, but then Virgie decided not to play along. I honestly do think that Anna hated her mother, or at the least felt she hated her, especially after Daniel died. I think the "mad at mom" videotape we saw was very real. I could feel her pain and hate. In that tape, I got the strong impression Howard was not egging her on, but was trying to calm her down.
I believe there was more a chance of reconciliation between Anna and Virgie while Anna was pregnant with DL, but when Daniel died and Virgie went on TV and such, as Howard said- that was the straw that broke the camel's back as far as Anna was concerned. Of course Howard would take Anna's side.
My recollection of the Larry testimony involved IV's, but I could be wrong. I looked really quickly and found this article below which also remembers the IV part. I don't have to time to verify more or hot link. Sorry. Gotta run.
