Funny you say that. They sent Flozell and Andre Gurode to the Pro Bowl. You have to admit the offensive line wasn't much of a problem once Romo became the starter.
They must love him. The big guys up front can miss a block and he'll escape, saving them humiliation when reviewing the game tape on Monday. Sure the guy beat me, but hey no harm, no foul, right? Bledsoe was a statue, although he has a great arm.
But maybe you can help me with something. Jones loves Sparano and then he hires Garrett. Who exactly is the O coordinator? Committee? Garrett handles the passing game and Sparano the running game? This is strange.
I agree and disagree with you. The o-line can do a lot better, and Romo performed well despite them, not because of them. Gurode was a late replacement to the pro-bowl. They will need to give Romo a lot more time, but that is not all. They seem to be pretty bad at setting up the run, and that cannot win Superbowls.
I have no answer to the Sparano/Garrett question. I read from some of the reporters that Garrett is there specifically to babysit and develop Romo while learning to be a head coach in 3 or 4 years time, while Sparano will continue to run most of the offense. It seems a little contradictory, to say the least.
What do you think, will TO be back?
