"If a Dem was president, then Osama would be happy, he would blow a hole in LA the size of Burbank, and the American people would see what the Dems have to offer."
So Osama blowing a hole in LA and killing a million Americans would be a good thing? Ok, I can see where you are coming from, its the far right lunatic fringe. No use in trying to talk sense into you. Good night.

I can't stand Rudy or McCain but I will never vote for a democrat, nor will I sit on my hands at election time thereby letting a democrat win. I will vote in the general election for the person with the "R" behind his/her name.
Primary time is the time to root out the rinos.

Do you have any evidence to support the statement that "conservatives sending a message" were the reason for the GOP losses in 2006?

RINOS refusing to listen is why we have this mess now. Apparently it's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better.

Well said. Hopefully the ones who sit home and hope for liberal democrats in control instead on non-perfect republicans will read, and re-read, it.

Rudy is everything the Democrats want.....pro-abortion, pro-gun control, pro-gay marriage. A conservative, he is not.
I just wish the the people here who support those stances wake up and realize we need to get back to the CORE values and fiscal responsibility that signifies the true Republkican party. Not this half baked, "he can beat Hillary" crowd.

I am wondering, when do we conservatives finally declare war on the mamby-pamby liberals who use our party as a platform against the Democrats, with no real difference in philosophy but rather a means for running a two card monty against us? When? Election day. Unless you have a nuclear device or two in your spare change purse.

We kicked a RINO to the curb in my district. We replaced him with a real conservative who was endorsed by the minuteman PAC to boot.

Personally I suspect that those who demanded that we blindly vote for whatever "republican" was on the ballot. didn't follow their own advice when they didn't have a "moderate" enough choice. That probably cost more seats than anything.

One thing is for sure. Either a Republican or a democrat will e elected in 2008.
If a democrat is elected all the things you listed are most likely under a democrat adm.
I want Homeland Security otherwise nothing else will matter. Any dem elected will not provide Homeland security.

Personally, I suspect (and this is based on a lot of conversations with people I know) that the biggest factor in the GOP losses was the loss of support among politically disinterested people in military families and/or military towns who picked up the newspaper one morning and read one more story about an Iraq war casualty from the neighborhood, drove down the street past a bunch of illegal aliens loitering outside the local convenience store, and asked themselves . . . "What's the f#cking point of all this?!?"
