I am beginning to wonder just what facts the President was given on this case. I think someone muddied up the water bigtime before the details of this case got to him.

I am hoping that someone with some common sense gets word to the President about now. It should be emphasized that there has been disinformation given to the Congress. And since the President is not very tolerant of dishonesty and lying, he should consider strongly releasing these two men pending their appeals. This case is starting to become a Duke Lacrosse type scandal and is slowly getting dirtier.

When the Minutemen first started the top BP guy, or maybe the top BP Union guy, called them vigilantes. Later Bush parroted that phrase. At that time I felt there was someone in the BP or the union with an agenda that was contrary to our best interest and they were the ones feeding information to Bush.
