The defense stunk up the joint today in a big way. And they showed signs of deterioration late in the year, giving up 31 to Tampa and 26 to the Pack. The Bears were fortunate to stay within 30 points of the lead tonight. Even Rex in top form wouldn't have made a difference.
Gotta say I was very disappointed in the commercials. Bud came thru with a couple but the rest of them stunk.
The Bears' defense gave up 430 total yards, 191 of which were rushing yards. Total domination.
Not that it has anything to do with the Super Bowl (or that it ever will again) but the faders will be sporting the number one pick in the draft for a long time to come.
