That Snickers commercial has to be the gayest commercial since that Ike & Bob commercial that I posted earlier in this thread.

Dear Husband has just announced that we will not give out Snickers next year at Halloween and I'm in charge of remembering.

The Snickers commercial reminded me of my favorite math teacher in middle school who used a similar horrifying scenario as a threat to get us to behave. If you messed up, your name went in a hat. At the end of the week he'd draw one boy and one girl to participate. Then the plan was to tie a tootsie roll onto the middle of a long piece of thread. The boy and girl would each have an end in their mouth. At "go" you start nibbling at the thread to get to the tootsie roll first. Loser got a swat. If it was a tie, well you know, smoochie woochie.

Thank the heavens above this NEVER actually happened. It was a threat and everyone was sure he'd actually do it. The sheer horror of imagining kissing some random guy in class in front of everyone (middle school dontcha know) kept us in line.

And now? We got gay guys in a snickers kiss on TV. There goes classroom discipline!!

And it's now been equaled or surpassed by Garmin.
