Half the FUn (maybe more) of watching the Superbowl is seeing the commercials. Remember, the ad agencies try to put their most creative commercials on during the Superbowl. Therefore, the purpose of this discussion thread will be to analyze today's Superbowl commercials: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
There seems to be a concensus that the best Superbowl commercials were the 1984 Apple commercial introducing the Mac and the original Budweiser frogs commercial.
In the hours leading into tonight's Superbowl, feel free to post your fave (and most hated) Superbowl commercials. Once the game begins, let us have an analysis of this year's Superbowl commercials.
Dean Martin, not Sinatra
Wasn't power rangers, was UltraMan, Japanese show, pretty well done though.
My buddy runs an add agency. I laff and say let the products sell themselves. I find most adds insulting.

Somebody needs to tell CBS that in order to use tax deductions, you have to generate profits.

Thank you for that. I'm still slackjawed at how bad this year's commercials are.
I have some friends at a company that are doing their first ever ad. Really annoying company called Jobing. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end for them, wasting money on stunt ads.

I only liked that Doritos commercial because I know of a yakky eccentric checkout clerk like that at the local supermarket. I try to avoid her line because she is annoying. However a week ago I had to go on her line because it had the shortest wait. Sure enough. She went into a whole yakky routine about how my Sunday newspaper felt "too heavy" and she actually started flipping thru it to make sure it didn't have extra sections in there.
Commercials aim at youth. I know kids are dumb but damn! no one is that dumb. These marketers are clueless for the most part. They are offending more than attracting
Dumb Duh'DumbDumb.
Gotta have heart: Here comes universal care
Either I'm getting more discerning (highly unlikely) or these commercials are sucking a lot more than in the past.
Bud goes slap happy.
Back to back Public Service commercials?
