I think Ubuntu is fine if you buy into founder Mark Shuttleworth's anarcho-marxist philosophies. Shuttleworth is doing everything he can to undermine and impede the acceptance of linux as a business tool for profit.
I gave up on Shuttleworth's intellectually insipid and anti-capitalist gruel when I graduated from college.

Why do I have to "buy into" Shuttleworth's philosophies to use Ubuntu? If I use Vista, then I really do have to buy into Bill Gates's philosophy of Microsoft's ownership and control of my personal computer--although I paid for it so it seems like my property.
