These may look like Monopoly houses, but they are part of a 10,000-unit housing project in Ixtapaluca, Mexico. The picture was shot from the air, and is real, or so says the helicopter pilot who took them. Still, it looks so surreal, youd swear it was a digital rendering.

All what used to be pretty farmland on the outskirts of town is now paved over with houses and apartment complexes which look just like that picture! And though we’ve voted mass transit down twice, the mayor talks like it is a done deal!
