Maybe it's this guy's way to protest indirectly China's one child rule and the resulting shortage of women.
The Communist government might think he's off his board, but avoids Marxist reeducation if he doesn't directly protest the government's one child policy.
Even though his choice of mate might fall flat, maybe the poor fellow's psyche has been saved by his thinking up a way to confront the surreal one-child social policy. What he has created to cope with the shortage of women is an equally surreal approach to marriage.
