I am curious as well, since I use to follow along what was happening there. The last I knew was that the UN told Executive Outcome to take a hike and the UNITA leader gave in since they no longer had the military support of EO. Also Princess Diana's group that goes around and removes land mines was there removing the protective barrier of the UNITA territory. Thus allowing the UN recognized communist government to invade UNITA territory.
I never understood why the worlds Democracy never supported or at least openly supported UNITA. Sometimes I get the feeling that Clinton preferred the internationally recognized communist government.
I share your opinion as well... I surfed around the net about info's related to them but only WND can give me lots of articles particularly favorable to the struggles of UNITA. MSM is lately more controlled by elites, its all about money not about news credibility. That's why i dont expect them to write articles exposing the exploits of the communist Black Africans (they're reaping the consequence though) against UNITA.
I don't know if i should be hopeful with the future of Africa... since most of its inhabitants have destroyed each others lives. I just wish that God will do wonders in the lives of individuals and organizations in that continent that recognizes Him and believes in Him. As of now their two big foes are the Muzzies and World Body, sad to say the USA Govt. may even oppose UNITA itself...
