Once every 10 years or so a kid comes along that raises the bar and dominates the game. Names like Björn Borg, John MacEnroe, Pete Sampras and Steffi Graf come to mind. Steffi will go down in history as the greatest female tennis player of all time, a title she more than earned.

What ever happened to Gustavo "Guga" Kuerten?

Not one the best of all-time but he was one of my all-time favorites to watch play on clay.

Guga was entertaining to watch in the finals of the French Open and ultimately ended up win three Championships there.

I absolutely agree with you. She had that awesome crosscourt forehand, slice backhand and great serve. Everything about her game should be taught to young girls learning the game.

Steffi also had a certain finesse on the court that can't be taught at a Nick Bollettieri tennis camp.

I think if Monica Seles didn't get stabbed, Steffi would have fewer Grand Slam titles.
