Schilling said in 2008 hell vote either for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), whom he called a personal friend, or Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.). If they are both on the ticket it will be a tough choice, he said. McCain or... Barack Obama???
Curt Schilling pretty much thumbed his nose at the Red Sox owners' shameless support of John F'in Kerry in 2006, by making some campaign appearances in support of President Bush. If Schil made the above statement with a straight face, I just lost a whole lotta respect for him...

It is really to bad. Schilling should have retired after 04. He would be remembered as a hero. He has lost a step, I know he was 15 and 6 but thats only because the red sox score a lot of runs. Look at his e.r.a. Now with all the contract issues and his big mouth in the press he will leave town with red sox fans sayin buh bye. As far as his politics. I am surprised with the mcain endorsement never mind Obama I always thought it would be great if he could knock off a senator kerry or kennedy
