It would be easier to identify the teapot if the picture was taken from the side. This website here has a very thorough Hall Teapot Identification section - once you know the name of the pattern & the official color name, then you can do a search on it's value.

According to post #39 link, Chinese Red was a color from the years 1937, 1942, 1984, and 1987. S'ok ..I'll put it on your tab .. ;)
