Careful. Some around here might start calling you a criminal for doing that.
I ripped some DVD's to my hard drive with Vista... does that help your situation? I ripped Superman Returns, Fantastic4, Cars and some others... Enjoy.. slysoft.com is your friend. ;)

Ahhh, I ripped the DVD's that I own... I don't care what they say...
antiRepublicans should feel out of place around here, but I don't know who would be calling him a criminal for making a backup of his own media. You must still be trying to justify the illegal downloads you've admitted to making, which of course isn't the same as making a backup of one's own media.
I also wonder if your only recent exposure to Apple's OSX is a cracked version running on a standard PC as well, since you've been defending the Russian hackers that cracked it for months, even claiming Russian hackers worked for the US DoD, something you eventually admitted you simply made up out of the blue.
So yes, illegal activity and outright lies such as that which you defend and admit to doing yourself will be rightfully criticized, but admitting to simply making a backup of one's own media is not criminally punishable that I am aware of, it's not he's defending those that hacked OSX and put it out on the internet for others to use like you are on record doing. Big difference, whether you realize it or not.
