72? Wow, she didn't look a day over 55. Haven't been keeping tabs on the soaps for several years, but I remember her. May she rest in peace.

Rest in peace. My wife loves this show too. She was surprised by the news and age. Plus, 3 months of stomach cancer is quick to die. I guess God was looking out for her.
