I have read that these bugs can't take the cold--if I was in Mass, I'd let winter do some of the work. Move out, shut off the water so the pipes don't burst, let the place freeze for a few days.

I put some of my antique wool textiles in the freezer a couple times a year--I think it kills off moth larvae, but I can't be sure.

I suppose the bugs would freeze but you'd have to be lucky with the timing. There are only a few times a year we stay below freezing.
