Well our normal winters are great. We average about 70 degrees in the winter and it is wonderful, but summer is brutal.

But there are areas of Texas that get hit pretty hard during winter - the High Plains, the Panhandle and all across north Texas. T5 is west of San Antonio so the elevation starts to climb a bit there heading toward the High Plains..... you can't imagine how fast a cold front can blow in from the Rockies in that part of Texas. I've seen the temps drop 40 or more degrees in a matter of hours.

It's taken some time, but I've gotten used to the wacky weather of DelMarVa, I think I'll stick with it - at least for now :)

I saw on the SA newspaper's website that the baby whose mother "lost" him near Houston was found in California, and that the mother had "given" him to a couple from there at a truck stop. I still say she sold her baby to the couple and met them there to complete the transaction, but of course nobody is going to admit to buying or selling a baby. The mother had even given temporary custody to a friend because she couldn't take care of the baby, then she went with her boyfriend to the friend's home and asked to take the baby out for awhile. Next thing you know, the kid is in California-the whole thing smells rotten to me...
