I'm sure he did hire them, but this is what HC's do in order to save their butts. Fox is another guy who'd find another HC job immediately if he was canned. He's very highly regarded around the league.
After 2007 season-Coughlin will be fired, Fox will go back to Giants, Cowher will go to Carolina.
