So, we have become such sheeple that if someone promises us a treat if we will, in return, do something that is dangerous to ourselves, we should hold the promisor responsible? That's just stupid! Sorry, I don't hold the station totally responsible. They maybe should have handed out a sheet of "danger signs that you're drinking yourself to death", but then some shark would say they were discriminating against the illiterate!
I do have sympathy for the family of this woman, but I do not think the station is responsible. Lordy, if I could sue someone for every stupid mistake I've made, I'd own the world! LOL!

The radio station should have checked into the dangers of water overload before they held the contest. IMHO they bear some of the responsibility here. It was an accident waiting to happen.

Yup. Same dynamics were used in some of those reality shows - eating dead fish, etc..
