The dog is now in the custody of Animal Services and will likely be euthanized because it killed someone, Wright said. There will be a hearing during which the owners of the dog will have a chance to defend the animal.

Civility, Compassion, Justice. . .would have that the owners here; waive the hearing. . .

Given the past judgments exercised here re this dog; I suspect that will not be the case; but hoping; nonetheless, for a 'step-up and forward. . .

The owners should have to pay wergeld for the little girl's death -- like everything they own plus the fruits of their labor for the next 30 years or so.

The breed should be exterminated. They are dangerous and should not be tolerated.
