That's cute, but lions don't know from "hugging" and "kissing." I would still be very cautious of a wild beast like that.

Great, my cats are all love and kisses and then their brain strips a gear and they activate their claws and start attacking me. With a cat you can usually stop without major scratches and bites, a lion, that's a different story.

Well, on the one hand, a lion is just a really big cat, and cats are very affectionate.

On the other hand, when a dog licks you, he's kissing you. When a cat licks you, she's tasting you.

Ana Julia Torres, who runs the Villa Lorena animal shelter in Cali, fed and nursed Jupiter the African lion back to health years ago after it was found abused and emaciated in a traveling circus.

They should bring that circus owner in to "play" with Jupiter.
