To: Always Right
Can you drive and watch at the same time?I once saw a guy driving a convertible with the top down on K Street in Washington DC at the height of the evening rush hour who had a video screen mounted in the middle of his front console. Playing on the video screen for all the world to see (and booming out of his speakers for all the world to hear) was a very X rated video. Some passers-by were laughing. Others were turning away in disgust. The driver was totally engrossed and totally oblivious.

I've seen similar scenes, with X-rated fare playing on in-car video systems. It's actually fairly common. Usually it's a big SUV but I've seen one minivan with shall we say very rhythmic action in play on its screen. So far my kids haven't noticed, though. Good thing-- in the early days of in-car video systems, they'd be riveted with envy. Today, shrug. That's fortunate.
I wish the politicians would quit beating on innocent cell phone usage and start doing something about porn pollution on the roads.
