I really loved that episode with the Iranian woman as a mother married to a terrorist... I think it was a couple of seasons ago. She was making the breakfast for her family like any other mother... and then without the bat of an eye she asked something of her husband that was truly evil. Like it was nothing more than spreading margarine on toast. It really struck me--fantastic scriptwriting. Such contrast.

Season 4, the actress is Shohreh Aghdashloo a Muslim who regularly speaks out publicly against terrorists.

Oh... I fully accept the label of geek. I have autographed pictures of every Star Trek series star except Patrick Stewart, DeForest Kelley, and the folks from Enterprise.

LOL! I had the best intro to Star Trek ever: a Marathon on cable! LOL!

I used to watch Buffy but it started getting too messed up for me. I pretty much tuned out once Willow went lesbian.

I understand... I guess they had to push the envelope... but by then, for me, I was so wrapped up in caring about the characters, so even thought it was pretty weird, I cared for Willow and her girlfriend. Why, I don't know.

It's strange, the power that film/tv has over people.

And to think... I finally watched "Conspiracy Theory" with Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts today. I'm looking for the black helicopters any moment now. ;)
