Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
Jack, please don't teacup the guns.
Thank you for posting that dedication screencap. I missed it at the end. That's great they did that.
Oh wow. Great link, thanks.
UPDATE: Jack has gone Manilow! Assad will show him.
UPDATE: "You'll remember. You have a multi-year contract."
UPDATE: Big deal. My computer erases files all by itself.
UPDATE: Don't mess with Kumar, OK?
UPDATE: "It's not A-med... It's KUMAR!"
UPDATE: There's a conductor on the subway? Is that an LA thing?
UPDATE: Next time, those people will take taxis.
UPDATE: Huh! Jack was right again. What are the odds?
UPDATE: Tomorrow night: "Oh my God."
Good work, everyone. Get some rest. Except for Steve.
I know Eva Longoria isn't... but that idiot middle manager of Chloe looks like her.
And yes... Robert Duncan McNeill.... Alex Siddig and him are very good buddies... it was probably a "Hey, you wanna be on 24?" deal.
Okay, I'll log off on this oh-so-true post--gotta get to bed. No kidding! That's what I'm saying when I'm jumping up and down in front of the t.v., trying, in my own pathetic way, to prevent another not-real terrorist attack. LOL!
But then... we wouldn't have a series without their disbelief, right? :)
Until tomorrow, FRiends. :)
Yeah, Buffy was great.
I like Veronica Mars also. Very funny dialogue.
That's too funny.
OMG... this could be an extremely interesting season, if that's true.
Life imitates art? Art imitates life? Not sure which is which.
NO, no don't samwise him! He may prove useful just yet. :)
I didn't realize that President Tom was so short. I guess that explains his Little Man Syndrome.
The whole show is 'brillant' from a psycho-drama perspective. They know just how far to tilt it to the left and then back to the right again....LOL
Keeps us all off guard in our our stereotypes and 'archetypes' of 'Hero'..blahblahblah...
You know what I mean?
At the first of the show, I told hubbie that they better make the next door neighbor 'terrorist dude' a 'real terrorist' or I would not watch the show the rest of the season! LOL..the writers anticipated such a response from 'folks' like me....just as they will 'anticipate' a response from the left and write the script accordingly!
Yippe..tomorrow night we get to let all the prisoners out of Gitmo!! (wink)
That should make the libbies happy......
Oh... I fully accept the label of geek. I have autographed pictures of every Star Trek series star except Patrick Stewart, DeForest Kelley, and the folks from Enterprise.
I used to watch Buffy but it started getting too messed up for me. I pretty much tuned out once Willow went lesbian.
I agree! I got Season One and Two for Christmas/birthday gifts. Veronica is a smart young woman, and it's interesting to see how t.v. has evolved, from Buffy's inception.
Marisol Nichols is her name.
And yes... Robert Duncan McNeill.... Alex Siddig and him are very good buddies... it was probably a "Hey, you wanna be on 24?" deal.
Yep.
OMG!!! That is the funniest comment....and SO TRUE!
I watched the whole thing tonight but couldn't watch and type...it's too riveting. I might make the attempt tomorrow.
Type during the commercials.
"By the way, if you have Muslim friends, be sure to pronounce their names right.
They get really cranky if you don't."
I have had Hindu friends get 'cranky' for the same thing...LOL...Crankiness is not something we should 'profile' just yet......LOLOLOL
That was my thought as well--the Islamists are the evildoers, so to speak... but they're also the saviors, i.e., helping Jack find that guy's location.
You're right... you can see anything you want in this. Those on the left and the right can watch this and take what they can from it. It is brilliant scriptwriting.
As a writer myself... I really loved that episode with the Iranian woman as a mother married to a terrorist... I think it was a couple of seasons ago. She was making the breakfast for her family like any other mother... and then without the bat of an eye she asked something of her husband that was truly evil. Like it was nothing more than spreading margarine on toast. It really struck me--fantastic scriptwriting. Such contrast.
Dave's blog is a must read the day after 24. Hysterically funny. Funniest moment for me tonight was the ACHK-med line.
