The Cosmos once drew over 70,000 to their games. But the other franchises couldn't keep up, you can't have a one-team league.

Try to have a sense of humor, soccer fan. Nobody in this country cares about soccer.

It's ok, I'm a hockey fan...a realistic one who realizes nobody cares about hockey in this country either. Nobody in mainstream media anyway and I'm ok with that. They can have their NBA druggies and NFL gangsters and ridiculous College Football National Championship scenarios.

I prefer to follow a sport where the players respect the game.

...as I'm sure you do as well.

OK, how about: "Tens of citizens will flock to see the Galaxy play." ;)

It's still a good move for MLS - probably the best possible situation for Beckham, too.
