In a saga that just won't die, Donald Trump wrote a letter Tuesday to Rosie O'Donnell in response to media reports of her blow-up at Barbara Walters, telling her she had the right to be angry and saying Walters "lied to both of us."
The tone of Trump's Jan. 9 letter, sent to FOX News and other press outlets, is snide — and some of his allegations about Walters' recent grumblings over O'Donnell, whom she hired last year to be the moderator on "The View," are shocking.
"In fact, she lied to both of us!" Trump wrote in the one-page letter, which he sent to O'Donnell at ABC Studios in Manhattan. "After your maniacal and foolish rant against me two weeks ago, Barbara called me from her vacation (I did not call her) in order to apologize for your behavior. She had heard that I was going to retaliate against you and tried to talk me out of it."
Trump claims Walters tried to persuade him to come on "The View" when she returned from vacation so that she could "patch things up," but he said no.
"To be exact, she said that 'working with her [O'Donnell] is like living in hell' and, more pointedly, 'Donald, never get into the mud with pigs' and 'don't worry, she won't be here for long,'" Trump wrote. "Barbara knows exactly what she told me over the phone and she has to live with it."

Please forgive me, but I love watching Rosie O'Dinosaur go down in flames.
Of the 3 of them, The Donald has the most credibility.
Pork futures just took a nose-dive.
I never watch The View, but I sure am enjoying this.
Let me assure you, there is no fight between Baa-Baa Waa-Waa, Rosie "Moose" O'donnel and The Donald..it's all a publicity stunt..
And the hits just keep on coming...
The language he has used against Rosie has made me feel sorry for her as a woman. You just shouldn't talk about a woman that way, I suppose. Even if it is Rosie who is the antiChrist.
Of course, this is a really irrelevant discussion entirely. And the truth is that with Rosie on the View the ratings have skyrocketed, so she's probably staying put.
Just keeps getting better and better...
I believe The Donald is very good at this game, and he is making sure Rosie is going to go down in flames. Now he's turned the tables once again and is forcing BaBwa Wa Wa's hand! :^)
Maybe we could convince The Nuge to finish this off...
My hope is that he takes out The View entirely.
I never watch "The View" since I can't stand the liberal loons, and I certainly am not going to start now, but this battle between Rosie, Trump and Babwa is amusing.
