Not necessarily. Look how long CBS kept Rather after his ratings were in the toilet. And Miss Perky has the lowest ever ratings, worse than Dan Rather, yet CBS refuses to fire Katie.
Apparently, ratings mean nothing.

I was watching the View today while stuck at the car dealership and Rosie was blaming the Bush administration for not showing photos of our soldiers coming back in coffins and the only guy who got a picture of the massive coffins was fired from his job. She said it was all about us not getting the chance to see it and feel it and therefore we would do nothing about it. The youngest View member said that this policy started with the Clinton administration, so at least there is one of them on that show who seems semi-Republican and not a blatant left-wing loon!
