Van Halen? I guess I'm getting old. I saw their inaugural tour back in 1978 I think. They were the opening act for Journey, and they pretty much rocked the house.

I saw the same show at Will Rodgers in Foat Wuth. At the very last they opened the orchestra pit tickets and somehow we got them. DLR was slinging sweat all over us. Very cool. They were by far better than Journey. Of course at the time I was a senior in high school.
