Chapel Hill — WRAL has confirmed that the accuser in the Duke lacrosse case gave birth at UNC Hospitals on Wednesday.
Sources tell WRAL the woman had the baby by Cesarean section. She was not due until February.

We have only her word about the due date. Having the Caesuran now could obscure the fact that it is a full term baby....thus proving that Crystal was plying her trade very soon after the LAX party...you know, when she was so sore and traumatized.
I can see it now ... this woman's angst over her alleged attack resulted in preterm birth. Now, whom to sue? Duke? The Lacrosse team? Nifong? So many potential defendants ... Paging John Edwards ... Paging John Edwards ...
As I've suggested before - they need to determine age the old-fashioned way. Cut the baby in half & count the rings. ;>)

Has it even been established that she has custody of the 2 older children? Not trying to be mean here, but come on, the AV was characterized as a veritable black June Cleaver by the MSM for months after...
Au contraire. That little girl baby is an innocent victim of her own mother. Being adopted would be a blessing...having a loving 2 parent family and new name would be a welcome obscurity and would help her to grow up normally.

It is believed she has custody, whether full or joint custody is not determined. Except for his name and being fellow military at the time, there is not much know about the father of her first two children.
She was involved in other police probes. It's not know if the minors involved were her children.

I saw the beginnings of a face-saving 'way out' for blacks last night on Greta's show. Even Ted Williams agreed that Crystal was a victim of Nifong....Thus the outrage is against him instead of the black mother/college student/exotic dancer/liar who falsely accused these boys of rape and put them and their families through a living hell for the past year..

Our Collective Voice - Note from a Retired DA
Recently, we received the following email from a retired elected North Carolina District Attorney.
I am a retired NC elected District Attorney. As such, I am irritated by the way Mr. Nifong has sullied ALL DA's reputations as well as his own. Thus, this email.
The bar complaint may take months to resolve. It is the nature of those beasts. However, a removal petition (NCGS 7A-66) is pretty swift. Moreover, it is the nuclear weapon of administrative remedies. The standards are amorphous while the quantum of proof is only that the judge find the allegation(s) true. The DNA fiasco is probably enough (my view) to warrant a hearing. However, such matters as yesterdays contradictions between Nifong and the Sheriff's captain add some fuel to the fire.
