We aren't going to gamble; I'd like to see the art at the Bellagio and the lights at night.

Should I avoid that too? I really have no clue.

They don't call it Sin City for nothing.

If you'ld take your son to Bourbon Street in NOLA, then you might be okay going to Vegas.

I've taken teenagers to Vegas ages 15-17. There's plenty to do and some of the shows are for families, like the R&B reviews and the Blue Man Group. There's shopping and arcades and the like, which you can also do elsewhere.

The only drawback I see is what to do with them if you want to see other entertainment or activities. Mostly have to stay near and set meeting times if you separate.

The "Sin City" aspect of Vegas is there, but so is the family entertainment. And the two are necessarilly mixed.
