"So you're saying he'll be a total failure in the NFL?"

Who?

So once again #1, as determined by the BCS, media, 'experts', and the polls fails to win when forced to earn it on the field. Once again proving that determining a national champion by polls is a total farce that usually fails. They said Boise St. couldn't compete with the big boys like Oklahoma, but they were wrong. Now Boise St. is the only undefeated Div. 1 team in the country, and the crap about them not playing a big boy schedule is similar bogus bullsh!t. A shame that there is also no way to know if Florida is the best team in the land, a shame that they won't be allowed to finish the job of earning it on the field by continuing in a playoff. Not Florida's fault, they did what was asked in this ridiculous fraud of a system, Urban Myers has the guts and wants to prove it in a playoff, the UF President wants to, but the POS that run college football won't allow them to.

I'm glad that the Big 10's (sic) flagship teams were exposed and had their asses handed to them, their commissioner, their conference, the Pac 10 and the Rose Bowl are the only roadblocks now to adoption of a playoff:

[College Football]Playoff Plunderer (Big 10's Jim Delany)

That article will piss off any true college football fan with any guts.

I don't think SC should be in front of LSU! I put LSU 2nd.

Couldn't happen to a finer group of bullies.

What? This is the blubbering? Zip it. You lost. There are no bullies on the football field. There are tough guys and losers. LOL. :)

JaMarcus Russel. Since you said he'd be a good Raider, I jokingly turned that around by implying that "good Raider" means "bad football player."

Of course, it's not quite a joke when you look at how they played this year... 2-14, eesh.

One of the local articles said that his mom didn't tell him when she first got sick. She even had not told him when she was wearing a wig because of losing her hair from chemo. Surely we see some of her strength in him!

I can understand the devotion of Tiger Fans to their team, but Notre Dame is just a howlingly bad team compared to the Tigers. USC''s win over Michigan was much more impressive.

It's so easy to hate Notre Dame...

I'll say again,

UF
USC
BSU
LSU

Chris

He was right up front what he thought about her, was real sweet.

Great outcome -- misunderestimated, indeed.

I don't see OSU in the top 5. UF humbled them tonight.

I see BSU sneaking in ahead due to a tip of the hat for their derring-do from last week.

"I don't think SC should be in front of LSU! I put LSU 2nd."

LSU is a horse of course, but they played a whimps for ratings Notre Dame while USC manhandled the team that was supposed to get a rematch with Ohio State. If you think LSU is number two you have to tank OH and MI in the ratings.

USC beat the snot out of Arakansas, while LSU had a close call. LSU beat the snot out of Arizona, while USC had a close game. They both pounded the heck out of Notre Dame. Let's call it a tie and break it in the fall!

Good thing a team like Florida won instead of Michigan. At about 45 minutes from Detroit, they would have burned down Detroit in celebration.

Ohio has to fall to about 5th after tonight, and Michigan, well there about 10 teams better than them.

Personally, I don't think there's any team that could beat LSU right now, but they did lose earlier in the season on a flaky ref call at Auburn and just stunk up the joint against Florida. The good news is they get all these guys in Baton Rouge next season, and I don't think they'll have any trouble motivating the Tigers for Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa...

Both OSU and MI were whomped by the big boys. Neither deserves a top 5.
