I'm glad that the Big 10's (sic) flagship teams were exposed and had their asses handed to them, their commissioner, their conference, the Pac 10 and the Rose Bowl are the only roadblocks now to adoption of a playoff:

Of course, it's not quite a joke when you look at how they played this year... 2-14, eesh.
One of the local articles said that his mom didn't tell him when she first got sick. She even had not told him when she was wearing a wig because of losing her hair from chemo. Surely we see some of her strength in him!

LSU is a horse of course, but they played a whimps for ratings Notre Dame while USC manhandled the team that was supposed to get a rematch with Ohio State. If you think LSU is number two you have to tank OH and MI in the ratings.
USC beat the snot out of Arakansas, while LSU had a close call. LSU beat the snot out of Arizona, while USC had a close game. They both pounded the heck out of Notre Dame. Let's call it a tie and break it in the fall!
Good thing a team like Florida won instead of Michigan. At about 45 minutes from Detroit, they would have burned down Detroit in celebration.

Ohio has to fall to about 5th after tonight, and Michigan, well there about 10 teams better than them.
Personally, I don't think there's any team that could beat LSU right now, but they did lose earlier in the season on a flaky ref call at Auburn and just stunk up the joint against Florida. The good news is they get all these guys in Baton Rouge next season, and I don't think they'll have any trouble motivating the Tigers for Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa...

Both OSU and MI were whomped by the big boys. Neither deserves a top 5.
