Some sports expert could fill in the blanks, but a quarterback named "Charlie Ward" (???) won the Heisman about 20 years ago, and wasn't drafted. He became a guard in the NBA for awhile. I don't know what became of him. He's probably too old now to play in either pro sport.

I'm not a sports expert, but am a knicks fan.

Ward could have played in the NFL, NBA or MLB, he was a truly gifted athlete. Good man too, he did a lot of charity work in the NYC area during his time there.

Charlie Ward won the Heisman in 1993 and was drafted in the first round by the Knicks that next spring/summer.
